  • EXCITING WAYS TO RECYCLE DENIM

Our denim jeans are a classic staple piece in our wardrobes, and when it's time to say goodbye to our over-worn, out grown jeans, it can be a hard farewell. So, here at Junk we've found some great ways to recycle those old jeans.

    1. DENIM STORAGE BAGS

Use your old jeans as a pot to store bits and bobs! For the lining you could treat yourself to something new, or perhaps use an old pillow case. The instructions are easy, but here's a link explaining it all in a clear step by step tutorial!

    1. DENIM SEAM BRACELET

By cutting the seams or hems from your denim jeans/shorts you can create cute hippy bracelets... perfect for that festival look! So simple, and doesn't even require a machine! Take a look at this site for clear instructions:

    1. POCKET PURSES

We are forever ramming things in to our jeans pockets, so why not turn your old jeans into a handy purse? This is a little more tricky, but don't worry still simple! Follow this guide to create your own cute little pocket purse:

    1. DRAWSTRING POCKET BAG

So you've used your front pockets for your purse, now cut off your back pockets and create a fun bag! Just requires a bit of machining and some string and you're done! Here's a good tutorial for you to have a look at:
