Creative Support Fun!

FREE - UPCYCLING WORKSHOP - GOOD FRIDAY!

Busy in the Mill
Read more →The wonderful journey of our garments! We have been very busy this week in the mill, to bring you some lovely new pieces! We have lots of saris, bed sheets, curtains, throws, table cloths that we are Upcycling into some fabulous one-off items. Our aim is to show and inspire people to Upcycle their unwanted fabrics into something unique, instead of throwing them into landfill! Here is the journey of one of our latest pieces.... Preparing for the festivities!
Read more →Here at Junk shop we are gearing up for the festive period and have just opened our enchanted forest Christmas stall in Albert square. (We are just to the right of the big father christmas, opposite the chutney and wine stall!) We have been busy making some one-off winter pieces for you, including Upcycled blanket fringe jackets and Tartan pinafore dresses! ❈ Day of the Dead Halloween Special ❈
Read more →At Junk Shop we love Halloween and think its an occasion that should really be celebrated! We are hosting a one off special Day of the Dead Halloween Party during the day on old hallows eve! We will be running FREE drop-in sewing workshops from 2-7pm where we will help you make your fabulous recycled Halloween costumes for the parties later on! Stuck what to dress up as?
