Mar 19, 2014 HAT TO CLUTCH IN ONE STEP Now Spring is just around the corner it's time to ditch the hats - but no one wants their stylish fur hat to fester at the bottom of the wardrobe until next Autumn....So, we suggest converting your cool fur hat into a fashionable clutch bag, and all you need is a zip, thread, needle and pins...easy! Grab your fur hat, measure it and find a zip that is the appropriate length: We've gone for a subtle colour to blend in, however you could use a bright colour to make it more Summery! Pin the zip in place: Then stitch the zip in place - it is probably best to hand sew the zip in securely, as opposed to machine stitching it, as the fur can often get in the way. Similarly, you could glue gun the zip in place. And there you go! You've now got a fancy new clutch bag, how quick was that!
