    A very special intensive course - making a unique 'Made to Measure A - Line Dress

    As well as covering functions of the sewing machine and recycling techniques, you will learn how to make a made to measure A Line dress from a roll of fabric or from your own recycled materials with techniques such as - taking your own measurements, using blocks and basic patterns, seams, finishing, customising, hemming, tailoring and darts. This unique opportunity for beginners also saves you money and reduces clothing going into landfill. Participants can choose which fabrics to use on their A Line Dress on arrival.  Leave with your very own Dress in 6 hours. Also includes basic sewing techniques, threading / tensioning sewing machines and more.   All materials provided but you are welcome to bring 2 1/2 metres of treasured cotton fabric from home.   Classes available weekdays / evenings and weekends - contact us for the latest dates.  Course tutor - Jessie

Whilst every effort is made to keep classes running on time occasionally dates do change. By buying a class you are purchasing a non-refundable course voucher for a specific date. You are welcome to use our machines or bring along your own!
